Kiehl’s Products - Review & Upcoming Review

1. Creme du Corps: this stuff is amazing you guys. It’s luxuriously moisturizing and unscented. I received a medium sized sample in a gift set (before I knew Kiehl’s was a luxury brand) and automatically loved it! It’s unscented and it looks and feels like butter on your skin minus the greasy effect. LOVE! The only thing is this whole product line is sooooo pricey! A 4 oz bottle is $17. Yikes! And the 2.4 oz sample I have—$10. I’ll be sticking to my drug store brand lotion, but if you have money to burn like that, I recommend this product.

2. Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo: I also got this in a gift pack and decided to try it since it’s said to be for dehydrated, under-nourished and damaged hair. I like this as well! It provides nice slippage and my hair felt much softer after I rinsed. The drawback is there’s SLS in this. Boo! Since I’ve banned SLS from my life, I won’t be purchasing the normal size.

3. Superbly Smoothing Argan Shampoo: Since I liked the Olive Fruit Shampoo so much I decided to check out what other shampoos they have and I found this one, which is for coarse and unruly hair (why do they always have to call our hair “unruly”—can’t we come up with a better word??) It’s silicone, sulfate and paraben free!! YES. And, it has argan oil. I’m not sure what the hype is with this oil since I haven’t tried it yet, but I keep hearing good things. I really hope it lives up to what the company claims it does. I’ll keep ya posted since I haven’t tried it yet. BTW I bought the sample size of this—$7!! The normal size is $18. If this works really well, I would be willing to fork up the cash, but if it’s mediocre, I’ll stick with my Organix Coconut Shampoo. :)
